Children's Project
With a differentiated focus on Early Childhood Education, the Jaú Center (Núcleo Jaú) serves 120 students, from 4 months to 5 years old, on a full-day schedule. The center is recognized by the Ministry of Education (MEC), and the students complete their first phase of school with educational and pedagogical development. From 6 to 10 years old, the center offers 100 spots for further education. During non-school hours, students have the opportunity to learn other subjects such as: computer science, reading and writing, performing arts, health and environment, citizenship, and school supervision, among others. The work done with our students is based on psychosocial development and brings positive results to the benefited community.

Ativa Comunidade Escolar
A partnership between the Raízen Foundation and the BNDES Social and Environmental Fund, the Program aims for the improvement of the formative journey of teachers and school managers in Brazilian municipalities through the incorporation and stimulation of socio-emotional skills development in public education networks and the expansion of school community engagement.
Currently, the Program is being implemented in 9 municipalities and 7 Brazilian states: Jequié (BA), São Gonçalo do Amarante (RN), Ipojuca (PE), Coroatá and Pio XII (MA), Piracicaba and São Sebastião (SP), Itaqui (RS), and São Bento do Sul (SC).
In the next two execution cycles (2025 and 2026), there will be an expansion to serve another 81 municipalities across Brazil, with 50% of the selection via widely publicized public call and 50% via direct coordination with territories where Raízen has operations.
For its execution, Ativa Comunidade Escolar relies on strategic partnerships: Instituto Singularidades, CoCriar, Prosas, Asec+, Tide Social, and IDIS.
